CoMotion Product Overview
CoMotion Product Overview
MAYA Viz makes CoMotion, a software solution for business enterprises
that improves the way people use data together to make
decisions. They needed a one sheet, double-sided product overview for
an upcoming tradeshow. I created the content and their team of information
designers put it together.
Scripts
MAYA Viz also needed a script for a CoMotion online Flash demo.
I took their notes and crafted them into a compelling interaction between two fictional CoMotion users.
Eating Scene

original copy
I have training in screenwriting for television and movies. "Eating Scene" is a sample.
Newsletters
This sample is a before and after presentation of a
writing project I completed for Infopop Corporation.
Infopop had received feedback from customers that setting up and administering
their product, the OpenTopic bulletin board, was too hard. They asked me to make it simpler
and easier to understand.
Case Studies
CombineNet is a Pittsburgh-based startup offering optimization technology that solves
complex sourcing problems. They needed multiple case studies for use on a customer demo
website. The case study text was later ported to their web template. Two samples are included here.
Technical/Design
While at Microsoft I worked as Program Manager and Product Manager. The first sample is my design
for the user interface for the Find functionality in the first version of Outlook.
The second sample is a section of the document outlining the requirements for the Windows NT 5 Logo Program. My mandate was to drive the process of producing this document as well as contribute to the writing.
